MISSION
Three Point Club is a social nonprofit dedicated to promoting mental and physical health through the spirit of basketball. Inspired by the three point shot, our program creates an inclusive, engaging, and judgment-free space where participants play, connect, and thrive.
Whether rebounding from life’s challenges or passing forward positivity, our community believes in shared effort, meaningful connection, and the power of taking your shot—on the court and in life.
SOCIAL. MENTAL. PHYSICAL.
Social support—emotional, instrumental, and informational—fosters resilience and relieves stress. In the paint, communication is connection. We come together through play, cultivating meaningful relationships while building community. This supportive environment helps individuals thrive personally and socially, creating lasting bonds that extend beyond the club.
Rebounding is redemption. Together, we fight for every missed shot because we believe in second chances.
Sharing the ball creates a connective energy where everyone feels involved, engaged, and accepted. A well-timed pass leads to opportunity, to success. Helping others satisfies core psychological needs: competence, relatedness, and trust. Unselfish behavior isn't just powerful—it's infectious. The potential precedes the assist.
It’s a commitment to support. We pass the ball as soon as you cross the lines of the court.
Shooting a three pointer is a dynamic full-body workout. The legs generate power, the core stabilizes and transfers force, and the upper body—shoulders, arms, and wrists—control aim and release. It builds strength, balance, and coordination across every major muscle group.
Repetitive drills offer cardio benefits, while shooting in bursts with brief recovery mimics high-intensity interval training—known to support heart health, improve lung function, and develop endurance.
It’s also a confidence booster—nailing a few threes feels really good.
